Where to begin

Ok so I guess if the characters in my story have blogs I have got to have one to.  Not that I need to have something else to do but I think it will be a fun way to keep track of what's going on.  I started this crazy journey back in July of 2008.  I was pretty mad about life in general and as those who know me can attest that is not something that happens to me often.  I needed an escape from all the problems I was having and   I was also upset that every time I read a book I found that the author used a idea that I had wanted to use.  So I started to write.  The story reflected my mood, dark and sinister.  After I had calmed down I started thinking about where this story was going and as I mapped out the next few books I realized that this dark story I was writing needed to be the background for The Creation's Dawn.  I am now finished with the book and am working on finding an agent to publish my book.  I have to admit that this part is quite overwhelming and is taking a lot of prep time to get my query letter ready.  I will post my query letter when the first one is done.
